Default How much is it worth? 2002 trans am ws6.

Well, since the "what is it worth forum" won't let me make a new topic, I figured I'd ask here instead, this car is in Missouri for those who know the market here.

The car is a 2002 trans am ws6, a4, 66k original miles, pewter metallic, 2 owners, clean car fax, minor damage to the rear bumper from a garage door, most likely needs re-painting, other then that, the car is in excellent condition minus the usual rock chips in the front bumper.

Interior: 9/10
Exterior: 8/10

The lady selling is firm on 13,500, I also drove it, it's fantastic, nothing to complain about besides the bumper.

So is this too much? KBB private party value is 13,000.

I wouldnt say its bad but I dont think I would pay that, you can find a vette for just couple thousand more. Plus with the economy most cars you find are under blue book value now a days.

Id say if you good get it for 11k it would be a good deal.

Needs work, auto, and 66k isn't really considered that low of mileage either.

Good luck

I agree, price is a little high IMO, for being from a private owner. I'd say 11,5-12 would be more like it but I dont know Mizz. car market either.

Thank you.

I offered 12,500.

If it's a no go, then I'll wait and find a better deal, the only other ws6 is a 2000, bright red, 83k miles, and they want 13.5 ( dealership ) which is ridiculous, and 6 previous owners, I laughed pretty hard, dealers always ask for way too much for f-bodys.

a 2002 z28 6-speed with 31,000 miles just sold for 15,000 at a dealership in Rolla, MO.

The market here is ridiculous, because around here, there's hardly any even for sale with low miles and decent condition.

I asked the sales guy about the z28 and he said the auction place he was offered 13,000 but declined and then sold it today for 15k.

Do you think I should just buy out of state? Like IL, Iowa or something.

I would say buy out of state, it would be cheaper to buy one and drive it back or trailer it back.
