Default Trying to Locate: 99 Hugger Orange Z

I had a 99 Hugger Orange Z-28 purchased new in 99, ordered actually. I am trying to see if it might still be out there.

Hugger Orange
T-top
Gray Leather
3.23 rear gears
Auto Tranny

It was traded to a Ford dealer in 2001 with about 43k miles on it. Dimension Ford on Coliseum Blvd in Fort Wayne, IN.

One indicating mark on the car would be a dent under the drivers door where a rogue piece of metal off the hwy struck the panel.

If anyone has any info about the car, I would greatly appreciate the knowledge.

I went to carfax.com and entered in the VIN. It looks like there are 17 records for that car. If its something you are really interested in knowing, I would purchase that carfax and see where the most recent service on the car has been. You might have already done all of this.

Good luck!

I knew there were 17 records from the "free" check I did earlier today, I ran the carfax back in 2003 and know it was registered in Peru, IN. I was surprised to see how much the price for those has increased but I'm not sure it would help me much, yet.

The ad for the one online was vague and no color listed. When I called they said it is red, not hugger

I think the vehicle is still in Peru, IN or close. Can you double check the orange one you have, unless something has changed very recently (if no interior etc sounds like that would be longer ago) the vehicle was just had the registration renewed 7-27-2010 and the color was noted as being orange at that time.

Please keep on the look out, I am hopeful the car is still in decent condition.

Why are you attached to a piece of metal?

Just buy another one that's even better.

...or did you leave a kilo of blow in the driveshaft?

Why does anyone get attached to anything? Sentimental value would be the only term I can think of right now. I still have the truck I traded it in for.

Nothing in the driveshaft...from my ownership anyhow

Go to the DMV or buy the Carfax and get it over with if you want to find it that bad.
