Chicago/NW burbs/ team So I have been wanting to start a team or join up on one , basically get a bunch of ppl that like cars and want to cruise and go chill at a bar once in a while or have bbqs and go up to shows and the dragway once in a while. So If your down let me know, that is once my **** is running (maybe in the next week). I have kids and am only 23 and what not but need to chill with some ppl that have love for cars like me to and not sum of my lame *** friends that r still imature and what not. If we get a team together more likely for us all to cruise so, just post up here
Let me know hooters car shows are a blast

I'm in. I have passed for being 21 getting into bars but I'm actually 19.. 
But I'll still cruise and go to shows for sure! I went to Tilted Kilt tonight in Roselle.

Count me in as a possible. Older guy here, married but no kids. Best free days for me and Fri, Sat and Sundays. During the week is no good for me.
Would be cool to meet others that are into f bodys and check out each others mods.

Add one more to the list. 26 with 4 kids... (Yeah, I've been busy)
As you can imagine with 4 kids I don't get to go out very much but if I know a few days in advance I'm definately down.
I'm a little farther south than most of you, but don't mind a drive.
Wildcobra, care for a bit of friendly competition? our cars are virtually built the same

damn ^^ would be sick to see this, but unfortunatly my car is down til nxt season waiting engine build. : ( ... ohh nice to see som1 not to much older than me that has more kids, lol

I might be down for something? I am 32, married with a 4 yr old boy. (who is also a gearhead just like daddy). I live in Palatine near Barrington/long grove. There are a few decent shows around the area that are worth going to. I really don't want to do the whole "club" thing or "team" thing, did that many years ago. I think just getting a group together for some shows and what not should be good. Anyone PM me if you want to do something!

Any of you guys going to the Speed Inc open house on 8/13? I'm thinking about heading out for it, sounds pretty cool.
Also, I'm in on metting up/cruising/drinking beer/whatever. 25 , married, no kids yet.

Agreed but they haven't had a whole lot of events lately. Need something like every other week to keep people's attention. that way if you can't make it to one week you know there is something else right around the corner. The Chicago Garage has got the right idea meeting up every week at Lukes.

Every monday at charleyhorse in Munster,In right over the Illinois border on Calumet Ave across from community hospital they've been having cruise nights along with 1/2 price burgers and $2.00 beers.

My junker is still sitting in the driveway with a huge gash in the passenger side rear. But never the less, I now have a fender roller to use and the funds for the new shoes. Hopefully next week she will be back on the prowl.
Btw, 31 married with a 7 yo daughter.
The whole group thing can be a little lame...... every goup I have met up with always has one doushe nozzle in it to ruin the atmosphere.
If anyone wants a crash course in fender rolling hit me up. Should be doing it by Wednesday.
