I'm in need of a paint correction detail badly!!! There r swirls on most panels, the bumpers have lost their gloss, and the whole car needs some major TLC! Please let me know who I can get it done at, the car is running good but isn't look too hot nowadays.
Thanks,
Z

i brought my tbss into Steel Ridez in South Elgin, he wet sanded and buffed it and now it looks great. next best thing to completely painting the vehicle.
you are a little ways away, but if you found a local reputable body shop near you that would be your best bet

If you guys can drop it off in Bartlett I can do it. Just did this one
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...orrection.html
Make sure you do your research before bringing it to any shop or detailer. A lot of them run a rotary buffer across the paint and apply a glaze to hide the swirls. THen a few weeks later it looks even worse.
If they do it dirt cheap or it only takes a few hours I would question them.

Bartlett and South Elgin seem reasonable. I have had responses from a couple guys but they were a couple hrs away.
Thirdgen-do you detail work for a living or just on the side? I would love for someone to actually take a look at the car and let me know what I need. I'm not expert when it comes to paint work by any means. Haven't found anyone local that has impressed me.
