Thanks guys. Was a good season and only the top 8 are invited to the final event. I missed a few events due to clutch issues so I had to play catch up in the points. Was in 9th place last event and needed a win to possibly get top 8. I won that event and and it bumped me to #6 in points.

Championship event, My dumb *** didnt get on the internet for a few days and the track changed the event time. Racing started at open time runs from 9-12 and First round at 1pm not 5pm doh!!!! I drive my turd to and from the track so I need prep time. We get there at 11:30 and WTF, there making passes!!!!! Hurry up and slap the slicks on, adjust suspension, jump in staging lanes before they close at 12. Car goes 11.10@125 hot as hell, woohoo im good. End up taking out a team member/female in the first round that sucked but, she was rooting for me so that was cool.

I pull into pits and who the hell is standing there..... My dad... He is here from Nevada and I have not seen him a couple years wtf, nice surprise pops but wrong timing lol!!!! Now im really fucked up, anxious and nervous.

Anyways, I end up racing I believe #1 in pts for the final race. 1968 camaro racecar vs us. He trees me pretty good so I gotta hit everything perfect and run my race since its a 11.0 index class and I know he has a 10.8x car. He gets out of it, I get past him and get on the brakes. Beat him to the line for the win!!!! 6 Speed Banger for life!!!!

I went 11.01@ 117 to his 11.17@ 108

Another BIG thanks to Moe, Chris, Elmer, Rob, Speed inc and Thunder Racing

Very nice Mike, big congrats on the track championship dude!!!! Your car is running strong for sure . That sucks about them changing the start time, they have been pulling some crap there all year long from what i have been reading on the net. Not sure if you get GM High Tech Performance but Chris was in the last issue,November.

Thanks Eric. Yes this Midwest rear is holding up with no issues. Im coming out at 6k dumping and she dont blink an eye. Best 60' 1.53, not bad for a banger...Now that the season is over, I cant wait for some good air so I can run this bitch all the way thru.

sounds great! I have Cordova rented all day this sunday if you're interested... maybe a bit of a haul for you but should be no problem getting a lot of passes in the good air!

GLD was a BUST!!! I watched them spray from the 60ft timers down the 1320,2 times. Nothing on the starting line. When you can hook better on the street, thats pathetic. I would wager what was sprayed was 80% alchohol. I have been there a year ago when you could loose your shoe on the starting line on a RSD night.
