Default Wisconsin F-bodies

Anyone from Wi, feel free to chime in. Where do get your mods done, do you do your own, what shops do you have work on your car, where do you get your parts from, etc. Where do all the f-bodies in Wi hide.

I'm seeing more and more ricers around here everyday, no F-bodies.

I live in Beloit, WI. I'm having Speed Inc. do a bunch of work in May. I bought all of my parts from different sponsers throughout the winter.

I go to school in River Falls. I do all my own work, and buy parts from various sponsors and summit.

I do most things myself. My car already had the heads/cam when I bought it. Plan on going to Speed Inc. to get it fine tuned and one of their true duals sometime this spring/summer. I absolutely can't wait to break the SS out of storage.

Does speed inc do good work? I've ordered almost everything for my car through them and love the customer service, but never had them wrench my car yet.

After I got the cam put in (myself), I had Jim at Speed Inc. do the tune. Even though it was a 3 hour drive for me, I didn't mind. Got 27.5 MPG at 70 on the interstate going down and 26.5 coming back. Jim said I was a little lean, so the would explain the better MPG going down. I would definitely recommend Jim for anybody's tune. That guy is a whiz with LS1 edit or anything else I'm sure. He ended up getting 370/370 at the wheels for me.

Hey im from IL but Im like 10minutes from the WI boarder. Ive heard good things about extreme and mixed reviews from Speed Inc. but from what i know they do alot of business so that must mean something. I do all my work at a little vette shop down here in IL. Good luck and mod that thing up.
