I've only been asked to open my hood once to find that my battery isn't held down. I then proceeded to get in line.

Last time I was there the tech guy's pointing at my engine oil dipstick and saying "You need a locking transmission dipstick." I'm like, "that's my engine oil, the cars got a stick shift." He didn't believe me and looked in the car. What a doofus. He also looked at the Snell date on my helmet.

I believe anything anything in the 13's requires a helmet. Last time I was there they were also making sure it was DOT approved (I think) and not expired. The actually took the padding out trying to find the sticker.
