Default anyone want to swap a4 to m6?

Hi,

anyone in the northwest suburb's Illinois area
interested in doing a trans swap
from a4 to m6?

must be a 99 and up and preferably Camaro
around same mileage
had a shop quote me in Schaumburg
we would split labor to do swap

I have a 00 Camaro ss
m6(rebuild) (6k old)
56,000

ls7 clutch (6k old)
ls2 flywheel (6k old)
new GM slave cylinder (2k old)
tick performance -speed bleeder (6k old)
tick performance- adjustable clutch master cylinder (2k old)
new trans mount (6k old)

I can see if I can find my receipts for the internal trans parts
I have no proof of my trans rebuilt I paid cash.

T56 trans
My trans was popping out of third gear
So, I had it rebuilt with following
-shifter bronze bushing
-New synchro
1-2 / 3-4-With soild billet keys
-New input shaft
-Steel fork 3-4 fork
-Bronze fork pads for
1-2
3-4
5-6
Reverse
-carbon fiber/kevlar blocker / synchro rings
1-6

last call,
someone offered to buy my car coming this Saturday(11/15) to pick up and I really don't want to sell.

anyone around the area would like to swap
from a4 to m6 please let me know

I will cover most of the labor
all you would need to pay is $200.00

if you prefer to have a different clutch or any new parts that would be out of your pocket.

Why can't you be here in the Dallas area and want this. I have an 02 WS6 with 42k and would love to have a M6. I was trying to sell my car so I could find a 6 speed.

my plan was to sell my car originally. I had a buyer. but, he backed out last minute.

still looking to see if anyone one in the local area is interested in doing a trans swap. Again, we would just split the labor cost in half. Please pm me if interested. Would have to be a 99 and up. I prefer milage around the same. But, even if you have a high milage car and trans is shut. We can work something out. Have a friend selling his new built 4l60e that I can use in the swap. I just hope it doesn't sell quick. Thanks.

What kind of mods did the car have before the tranny went bad,? And who rebuilt it?
It sounds interesting i just don't know that I'd wanna go to a manual so it's just out of pure curiosity at this point.
I don't know if the computer would have to be tuned for a different tranny?
but I do have a built 4l60 tranny on mine less than 10k probably ,
And new converter, I have the paperwork somewhere , it was rebuilt by a shop in Florida when I lived there, the car is a summer car only now .

just had exhaust. but, it would pop out of third gear once in a while.

I had a tech from my last job (Wickstrom Ford in Barrington , IL) do it after he had done his.

our computers would need to be re flashed for the different trans.
not sure if will need a retune if you have any modifications.
