Ls engine rebuild shop St.louis area? Just recently picked up a 2001 trans am with a 383 in it and few other mods. Car was running low oil pressure when purchased. Drove it to get inspected and back home and engine started making noise. Sounds like a rod bearing to me. Wanting to get the bottom end rebuilt. Was wondering what the best shop in the St.louis area would be to do this? I live about a hour south of St.Louis. Called cbi street cars and he said he's heard about this car and doesn't want to mess with it.

My recommendations, in this order:
1. Craven Performance- St. Charles, MO
2. P-2 Motorsports- St. Peters
2. Midcoast Performance- St. Charles, MO
3. Redline Performance- Crystal City
I don't have personal experiences with Redline, but I figured they might be closer to you than the other two and I've heard good things about them.
