Anyone here know this Camaro?
I'm looking at this 2002 Camaro SS in Illinois. I checked the carfax and it's been in Illinois it's whole life, hopefully someone here was or knows the previous owners? Here is a distinctive picture because of the choice of exhaust. The car is an A4, Hardtop. Any help would be appreciated.

Peoria. It's at the Chevrolet dealer. I'm trying to get a friend of a friend to look at it for me and tell me what he'd offer and if it has LT's, but they haven't made it there yet I'm in California so my plan would be to fly out, buy it and drive it back.

Hmm, I know a few guys that worked at that dealership. Engine bay picture is hard to tell but looks to have block off plates on the headers. That's a pretty decent price for the miles .

Looks like headers to me, you can see a little on the left side of the pic
But why would someone scrape off the options tag on the door? Is it maybe not a real SS?

The SPID (options) sticker is located further up on the door, this area is not show in the picture so it's unknown if that sticker is still present. Odd that they wouldn't take a picture of the SPID, since that's the one that really matters. Haha.
That supplemental sticker was located on the passenger door jamb for the LS1 years. It would only be present if there were options ordered from SLP above and beyond base SS content. Previously this required the Y2Y RPO, but in later years all SSs received the Y2Y code so that optional content could be added later in the build process if desired. Therefore, seeing the Y2Y RPO on an '02 car does not necessarily mean that it received additional content beyond the base SS (WU8) package.
