track looks very very nice in the pics on the site.

i always meant to make it down there durin my 4 years in des moines for college, but never did cuz it was 1/8th mile..i remember the rumor that it would be make 1/4 mile soon..from the pics looks like it is now but hard to tell?

how is that midnite madness event, like how many cars typically show up? street cars..i assume slicks and rollcages are ok though still?

thinking maybe it could be a little road trip to hit that event one time this year if its pretty big..maybe see some folks there i used to race against on the street in des moines and then go visit people at drake all in one shot.

Come on out. The track is still 1/8th mile, the guy who owns the land around us will not sell. Probably just remain 1/8th mile though, most all the fast Outlaw style racing takes place on 1/8th mile tracks. It's safer for the racers and much easier on parts.

Give me a call or something and let me know when you want to come down. The street car thing was done in the past, but never properly promoted. I feel we will have atleast 100 cars there to race at each one. Shooting for somewhere around 340.
