I'm visiting Des Moines, IA July 11-21 I am in Des Moines, IA for a week (July 12-21) if anyone wants to meet up for a beer or two some night while I'm here... 
...didn't bring my 30th though, sporting a GrandAm rental from the airport for now, haha.
Looking forward to meeting some midwest LS1tech members !

I might get a hold of you this weekend. My buddy has a 30 anniv Z, I sold it to him a few years ago. We'll be hanging out this weekend in Des Moines I think. I'm sporting my Roadmaster wagon this weekend, since the trans is kaput on my Z. I'll try to contact you on the forum sometime tomorrow.

If you can, maybe you should try to attend the Midwest F-Body meet in Norwalk (a little town on the south side of Des Moines) this Saturday. Might be a good time. I have never attended but am thinking of taking my ZL1 down there Saturday.

I know that after the show in Norwalk, they're plannin' on cruisin' around Des Moines. So it should be a good sight to see a bunch of f-body's out runnin' 'round!
I'm plannin' on checkin' out Porky's on the corner of Douglas & Beaver Ave also. It's ust one place in Des Moines that has a 'cruise-in' on Saturday evenings, ...
I know there's also a cruise-in in Ames Saturday evening at the truck stop also, but it's a 30 drive up I35 to Ames, so we probably won't be checking that one out.
