I am quitting street racing!
Yes, it's true. I am tired of the whole Chicago scene, and after this weekend, I decided to quit. I have more fun at the track anyways. I am going to make my car nhra legal with a 10 point cage, and strictly race it at Route 66 and U.S. 41 Dragway.

There wasn't one incident that lead to it, it was more of this whole year. I just thought about it a lot after a stroker h/c, sprayed hatchback mustang was asking for spots from my car...and everyone cries about my car for some reason or another. so next year my car will be faster and definitely in the 9's.

Dude, you just need to keep your runs and wins a little less public. Before I ever even talked to you in person or even online, I heard that you were between 10's and 11's. Just kind some new locations to go to. I don't remember if you have tints or not, but just get dark tints so no one could see the gutted interior, and just pop the hood and show that your not modded.

ah. the internet kills another racer, what a shocker.
and now you understand why i started posting times for the first time last year.
import who gives a **** what you "heard" that's why people leave the scene, everybody thinks they "heard" something. the days of an individual grabbing their ******* and actually racing a car on any given nite are long gone thanks to the good old internet bs grapevine.

I guess it's cuz your car just looks damn fast. Simple black with massive tires is intimidating.
as opposed to the ricer approach of, well we all know that one.

Sean: I am just tired of the whole, "you are on a tire, you have a cam, you are lighter." it's bullshit. I ran 11.49 on a 26in hoosier with the 4.10s. Now i still have stock internals, but i am switching to 3.73 gears and spraying a 150 shot. Then over the winter i am putting in a 6.0 iron block, using the stock internals except for a nitrous cam, and that will put me at 371 c.i. So there, I have nothing to hide, and those are my tentative plans for the near future. and yes, i am keeping the 10 bolt and plan on running 9's with it.
