MO-Fbody Shootout, 3-11-06, open to all GM makes!
I'm helping promote an f-body 'shootout' in the Kansas City. Its being done by www.mofbody.com and we are inviting f-bodies from all over the midwest (or anywhere else) to come. Its going to be an 8 hour track day. $50 to race. it will either be free or $10 to watch.
This is basically a Test and Tune 'event'. come see some of the fastest F-bodies and other GM makes around and meet some new people. we may have prizes for fastest ET and MPH.
it will be at KCIR in Kansas City. This is a pretty good track that will HOOK. Tosto has cut many 1.3X 60's with his 6speed NA car there plenty of parking and most of the pits are asphault.
more info here
http://www.mofbody.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23262
you should get nearly unlimited runs in and in great weather. DA should be in the -500 to +500 range.
if you would like to come PLEASE prepay as soon as you can. we would like to get 50-75 signed up before the beginning of the year. otherwise we may have to open it up to other manufacturers to recoup track rental money don't let that happen!!
feel free to link to any other f-body OR GM enthusiest site

Thinking about making this trip myslef to checkout some setups and see if I can get ten sec time slip.......sounds like a good time been chomping at the bit to get my car out. I have a ton of things to do in a months time, but with some borrowed items from a friend of mine who is building a 427 at the time I think I could make it...
But no roll bar is in as of yet I may have to run on the motor....
