So, does anyone have any recommendations for a shop that does a good tint job in the Chicagoland area (preferably near the western burbs)? I know the rear hatch window is a little tricky with those damn dots at the top.

Sorry i dont have any shops in mind, but what i can tell you is when i was looking around on prices it was sooo damn expensive. I guess it is becuase there isnt many people that get tinted windows in illinois. They wanted like 300 bucks to do just the back window! So i said fu*k that and i went on vacation later in the year to florida to see my dad so i drove my car and got the windows tinted in florida. The side and back windows professionally done for 125.00

A friend of mine recommended Precision Glass in Orland Park he said he got all his windows on his Grand Prix done for 200 bucks and they did a very nice job

I have a guy that does it out of his garage in downers grove. Does a great job. And puts the rear hatch in one piece. He does tinting store fronts for a living, and cars on the side. And he is not expensive.

Midamerica Tinting in Schaumburg is supposedly highly recommended.

Could you pm me that number, I need tints before summer and I'm in DG on a weekly basis. If he can do it cheap and good I might try him out! (I've been quoted about $300 at midamerica, higher elsewhere.)

i have had 2 cars tinted at Riggs Bros. in naperville, they do awesome work and are reseasonably priced, they have shops in villa park, st. charles, and wheaton also

Riggs tinted mine twice, never got it right, and started to peel after the second time.
