Who's an MFBA member and should I join?
I'm asking because I probably want to become a member, but the mfba 'join' page hasn't been updated since 2004... So:
How much is membership?
What are the perks of membership?
How long does a membership last?
Does the MFBA have frequent track days, etc?
Enlighten me, guys.
Chris

$30 to join, includes Shirt and Sticker
Perks:
Discounts at Track rentals (usually 5 bux less).
If club funds allow free track rental at the end of the year for all paid members (Mayhem in Morrocco, only 1 time in 5 years or so where it wasn't free to members)
First dibs on Road America (Road America is rented twice a year)
Membership is 1 year
We have Road America rented out twice this year, Cordova Drag Strip rented out May 13th, and Some time In September I believe we have US41 rented out
Also throughout the year various small events (weekend of the 21st we had a get together at Dave & Busters, last weekend World of Wheels, likely several picnics at Bussee and/or Shoe Factory woods throughout the summer) ... group of us will probably be heading down to Bowling Green For the F-Body thing too
http://ubb.mfba.org/showthread.php?t=36925
Those are the events so far, we're still finalizing everything for the year.
Also the Spring and Fall Cruises are a blast (don't have to be a member to participate in them) ... I went on every one for 4 years, then stopped cause I was running skinnies, no sway bar... but Ima put the car back together for twisties this year

I helped start MFBA back in 1998, it's a great little club.
I think this year there will be more GTG's. Usually if the GTG's are promoted well in advance, there are some big turnouts. If there are any picnics, I will try to drive my car to them.

I am also a mfba member. Hell the $30.00 you pay for the membership gets you a sticker, shirt, and track rental. Hell in october I paid my dues and got to run at the track for free. Otherwise I would have to pay $30.00 to run at the track. So I looked at it like, hell I get a free shirt out of the deal.

Like stated by others , it is a great local group of F-body people. We Always try to set up an event a month. We will prolly be having a dyno day upcomming also in addition to the other events Mike put up.
Something elso is wrong then, did you register under the same screen name as here? I can see what is going on....
EDIT;
02WS6Bird, I found the problem you should be all set now.

Good Times! Nothing like being in a caravan of about 20 cars and ALL (but Chris's Mustang GT) getting pulled over for "lifting our tires" and "spinning our tires"
