MI Governor Gas Petition
One of the guys at work showed me this online petition that Governor Granholm has setup for Michigan residents to sign if they would like to see lower gas prices. It is basically a petition to the presidant to get off his butt and start doing something about the record breaking profits that oil companies are making at our expenses. THE ONLY THINGS REQUIRED are:First Name,Last Name, Email Address and the City that you live in. Please check it out.

Well after seeing the Today show this morning, the oil companies (at least Exxon) isn't afraid to rub their high profits in our faces. I'm ticked that they're not going to help us out any, but at least they're being honest.

That petition is stupid. It's funny to me that the Democratic governor of Mi thinks Bush controls the commodities market.
I watched the interview with the Exxon exec and most telling to me is the FACT that only 30% of their profits are generated in the U.S.They do business in over 200 countries.
So E/M only made about 2.3 billion in the first QT here.
