Default Trex Passed Emissions! Do they weight the car too?

I went to get tested today and passed. I am releaved. First time for the car. Good thing it was windy. The car smelled like gas pretty bad.

Anyhow they put a weight on the sheet of 3733. Is this something they have on record or do they weigh it? I never looked to see if there was a scale. If thay is the weight then damn do I need to shed some weight. Is there a scale in the NW suburbs I can go to for free?

I think I remember a stone place near by Speed that has a scale. I will have to check it out.

You up for cruising tonight?

I don't think the readings at the emission places are real accurate. If you get the car accurately weighed please post up the results. I'm curious to know how off the readings are.

I still have not had a chance to get it on a scale. Does Byron or GLD have a working scale? I may hit one of those up this sunday.

My car just passed emissions not too long ago too and I noticed a weight of like 3744 on the sheet as well. I find it REALLY hard to believe the car weighs that much. I think its way off.

Maybe that is what their system has listed based on VIN codes.

Both of my cars recently passed emissions. They do not have a scale, the weight is pulled from some database. I know for a fact my camaro dosen't weigh 37XX lbs. LOL

I think pretty much any stone/gravel place will have a scale and will hook you up.
