Default Car/Trailer storage

So, where do you store your Trailer and Car if you don't have the space at home? I'm looking for a place in the Western Suburbs of Chicago to store my toy car and trailer.....

Anyone?

Cheers,

BS

Western suburbs = Elgin? I'd pm Z8's he might have some ideas. You need to leave the car on the open trailer all the time?

Elgin is close enough for me. I haven't bought a trailer yet as I'm debating open vs closed trailer. It would be nice to have a garage to store it in though.

Garage to store the trailer? You can store trailers for $40-100 a month outside at those storage places, there a bunch all over the place.

You could rent a storage unit, in effect a garage, but the cost might be up there.

Now if I could fit two cars in there I might go for something like that.

I'm doing what Chicago hotrodders do, I am renting garages from neighbours.

If we move, I'll look for a 3 car garage and a driveway. I'd rent a storage place but am not willing to drive super far.

Yea...I wish I could find a place to store my car when it's done.....I'd be happy to share for half the cost if I found a good place....

Where you located? I'd consider going in on a space, I never looked very hard. You can find garages and stuff like on Craigslist.

You must be able to find some deals out there, that's pretty far West.
