I'm tossing around the idea for this year....I thought about just getting a bunch together for a get together or maybe like a grill out...no t-shirts, no dyno, just time to hang out, BS, and eat some steak or burgers, then maybe go for a cruise afterwards.

Isnt that what we did last year minus the grill out/shirt ect. I still remember your T/a being in front of me and about 10 seconds later 2 miles from me off the bypass.

Ok guys, I talked to Rodney, Josh M, and a few other guys. lets set something up for this Saturday night. Say around 5:30-6:00pm at either Rookies on 63rd, or Rock Bottom on University. Have a little get together for some food, and see where it goes after that.

1. I hope you guys have some luck today (Rodney + Andy) and get that car back together. What Cam did you end up going with Andy?

2. Shinigami2x4, Josh P's last get together was one of the last times I had my car out and about, but I didn't stay long there. Had The g/f with me and had to jet out early.

It was yesterday and had a decent turnout. I figured i'd pass the news along and let everyone know when they are having the next one. I'm not sure if they had any judging or if there will be but it was the first one so im pretty sure suggestions are welcome. Has great food, nice bar, and lots of parking. Would there be any interest with you guys??

im thinking im game guys. Ill let everyone know forsure closer to saturday. But shoudl be able to make it. Just got home from completing andys cam swap, all went pretty well. Car sounds good, and seems to be driveable on the stock tune, so its all good for now. he got a 231/232 on a 107+4 I think.

Its the Rookies on 63rd, Easiest way to get there, take the 65 bypass to the norwalk exit, head north on 63rd, and its on the east side.

I will make it. Not sure if my car will come out or not, still waiting on these f*cking wheels!!!!!!!!!!!! They finally came a couple weeks ago now I am waiting for them to get painted. He is telling me this week so we will see.

caged, there is a place in Boone that powdercoated my wheels and did a real good job for 30 bucks a wheel. u should check them out its called premier powdercoating. and im sure it wouldnt take them more than a couple days to get em done.

Would anybody be interested if i swung by the SVTperformance Iowa section and invited some guys or do you guys want to keep it GM haha. I know a couple guys on there. Maybe we could get quite a few cars.

Saturday night wont work for me unless some of you guys stay out later. I have to work until 10 I think. What happened to the Wednesday night meeting? Thought Jason said something about it.

The car made it home from Rodney's just fine. Drove just like stock to me on the highway. Cruised along in 6th at 80mph the whole way back. Sounds pretty sick idling with the cutout open too. Ran into a couple of snags during the install but for the most part I think it went well. Obviously wouldn't of been able to do it without Rodney. He came through again for me. I owe him pretty big now, haha. Now I just need to get it tuned. Not sure if I should just wait until I get some free time to drive it out to Speed since it runs pretty good on the stock tune, or send the PCM out to them now and have them give me a base tune until I can get it out there. Probably would be able to enjoy the car more if I sent the PCM out for now.

It's on 63rd. I take I235 towards downtown and get off on 63rd. Go south a ways past Grand and it sits on the left hand side in a strip mall. Its easy to find.

Can't Rodney do a tune for you? I thought he had a buddy near him that had HP Tuners? I have EFI Live but I'm quite a trip from you.

Yeah he could but I would have to buy a wideband and have it installed, then buy credits for his HPTuners. I just think it might be easier to get it done with Speed. Would probably save me a couple hundred bucks by having someone with tuning software do it, but I don't want to bother Rodney anymore (at least not for a little bit, haha) and I don't know if anyone locally here would do it.
