Default HELP! Caught on Tape: Person Hitting My Car!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys: I noticed a crease/crack/dent on my front Bumper Wednesday. I told the guys at security to see if they can look on the Cameras to see if anyone hit it. Bingo. At approximately 11:00 AM a red Pontiac Grand Am backed in and hit the front bumper. Two black females were the culprits. We were not able to get a license plate number though.

Right now, they are searching the tapes to see if they purchased anything in the store and if they paid with Credit/Bank card to check for a name.

What are my options here if I can't get a name or license plate number? Am I **** of luck???

Thanx a billion

Oh man that really sucks, sorry to hear.

I hope you can catch them and they get charged with hit and run and all that jazz..

A couple of years ago I chased down a hit and run vehicle while on 911, relayed the plates and waited... cops got the guy about 20 min later, from his house.

I chased down a hit and run just couple weeks ago, except the cars were FUCKED UP. And he didn't get very far, his radiator was busted as hell. I couldn't stick around to wait for the cops, but he pulled over and I relayed it to 911 and on my way out of that area a saw a cop driving down the block.

I would prolly leave if it was tiny and un-noticeable, but if I fucked up somebodys car, I would stick around to get it taken care of.

Guys at work couldn't finish up with it as they were watching other people in the store. If I can't get a name, address or license plate number, I'm **** out of luck?

Should I file a claim? Pisses me off. I'd love to get a hold of those bastards.

Damn that sux bro, that's why I dont go to Ford City!!
Too many irresponsiple people over there!
I worked there for a few years as an off duty security and it was like little baghdad.
Parents loosing kids, kids carring guns, shootings in the parking lot, grown *** men with sagging pants. I lasted 2.5 years there. I was drawing my gun more there than my full time job!
Well James I really wish you had their plate number. But unfortunately with no plate you cant really prove it.
If you make a claim and present it to the insurance maybe they can zoom in on the plate, and you will not be held liable or your rate cannot be raised because it is comprehensive the vehicle was not moving and you did not hit anyone, they clearly hit you. good luck JAmes.

Sucks about your car....There are ignorant, violent, stupid people EVERYWHERE last time I checked, good luck with finding the culprits and repairing your car.

ouch man im sorry. i've been effed over twice like that...the first time for well over 5k in damages in my hs parking lot. if the damage is less than your deductible forget it your screwed...but otherwise claim it i guess. i think theres a limit on how long you can wait after the incident before you file a claim...i think you need a police report as well. i may be completely wrong about this but good luck!

At most places/stores if you are an employee and its cought on tape then teh store pays for the damages. Thats at least true for a lot of stores.
