Default How much longer...

...are you guys waiting to take yours cars out? I bought my Formula this past fall and before I knew it, it was time to put it into storage. It's driving me crazy not being able to drive it or at least not having it out being able to mod it haha. How soon do you guys usually take your cars out? I'd like to take mine out early March or I just might wait til I get back from my spring break trip. I hate Chicago weather.

If its nice day I may run to the store in it. Not really a set time when it "comes out"

I dont even want to talk about it right now. Got mine all taken apart, Modded, put back together, and tuned... Now its a waiting game. I drove it real quick yesterday, for the first time since it was tuned... She wants to MOVE OUT... So... yeah you can say I am waiting for the weather to break.

I actually drove mine to the store yesterday. The car was angry, I think. After sitting for a few months, it was idling around 1200 for the first 10 minutes, and had some insane throttle response after it was warmed up. That, or maybe I'm just way to use to my truck now...

I am betting your just too used to the truck.

Car seemed like the battery went dead? Mine did that when I first started it before the mods. Fkn battery tray cracked sometime last year, and wore a hole in the bottom of the fkn lead acid battery... A little fab work and a Gel Cell, that **** wont happen again.

There is almost no month you can't drive your car. If it's dry and cold, everything is frozen I'll take something out just to get that need for speed thing. I heard it's supposed to warm up though. Some time in June.

More than likely. Although, I'm sure the fact that the ram air was sucking in some colder air didn't hurt much either.

Hang in there. When I bought my car, I went shopping for some insurance rates. I was blown away at the price for 6 month coverage. I stored it and waited til' I was 21 so the insurance rates would drop somewhat. I had the car in storage for jus' about over a year until I found out that I could put it under my dad's insurance. That was like going out with Jessica Alba for 1 year without having sex!

I always drive it at least once a month. I try to pick the best day but this year in Iowa has been rough. I bought my 2002 WS6 new and have always had it out at least once a month with the t-tops off. Not sure why I started this but it's been nearly 6 years and I'm still at it.
