so i was cruising down route 30 in new lenox last night with a buddy and i saw a black gto so i caught up 2 it, it had dual exhaust so i figure it must had been one of the late model ones....i pulled up next to him in 4th gear at about 1800 or so rpm with no intention of raceing this kid, whn i pulled up next to him he looked at me and just took off, i figure it must have been an auto cause i didnt hear him down shift and he took off pretty good, i didnt evn have time to downshift so i just took off after him, being in 4th gear at 1800 rpm i figured he would blow me away but i punched it in 4th and suprisingly he only had a car and a half on me.... are these cars not really tht fast? cause i alwalys thought they would blow my trans am out of the water? ""(although they look like they are heavy as hell).. i wonder if i could have smoked him i had time to downshift into 3rd?

Stock vs stock, the LS1 f-body will almost always win against an LS2 GTO. A tune really wakes the LS2's up though.

When I was stock I raced a 6.0 GTO from a dig. He was stock too but had drag radials...both auto. I took him by about a lenght and a half. Suprised the HELL outa me I thought I was going to get eaten alive.

one of my friends has an 06 a4 and on a good day it ran a high 13.30 which i thought was just awesome for the weight. thats faster than my 99 a4 was stock....
