Looking for a local joint that has live rock or metal bands on Friday night. I am in the NW burbs as many of you know.

Reason being is I have a Rep in from Switzerland, and he is a metal head, much like myself, and is wanting some local flavor before he goes back to the blonde bombshell paradise he is from... ******.

Anyway... Yeah thanks for the help..

Durty Nellies in Palatine often has live bands on weekend nights. I'm sure lots of places do as well. I would check metromix.com and search for live music in the burbs...there has to be something.

Hair bangers ball at Burbon Street... idk if thats the type of metal your into or not they are the cover alot of stuff from the metal hair band era

nellies has a wide range of music played there last time i was there i wanted to shoot myself it was a band playing all earlier 90's love song type crap.....there were alot of cougars there haha a little out of my range tho as i am only 21

ANYways... I just got up and boy is my head pounding. Ended up at Famous Freddies and they had a pretty good cover band going there. But the music was the last of our worries last night. I let the wife drive my car, seeing as I was a bit tipsy, and I think we raced another Black WS6 all the way home... Or was I just seeing double???? Either way, it was a good time, and I think I drank Pro's weight in booze last night.....

yea famous freddies has some good bands too. I agree with pro about Nellies, its really hit or miss but they always have something.
