Hey guys,

I installed a MTI clear lid this week (may have been ws6stores last one, they are no longer listed) with a Holley power shot blue filter to go with my NBM, then installed some NGK's and Taylor 409 Spiro Blue wires yesterday.

I am a little concerned at how poor of an air seal the MTI clear lid makes. I've noticed in pic's the SLP lid has more material come over the front then the Clear one, and was thinking about maybe even putting some clear silicone along air gaps in front corners and the back. Obviously something I could peel off when needed, but it sure would look like crap. I am just concerned about the smaller particles being sucked straight into the MAF/intake. I also noticed with this combo the air filter is just sitting in there without any actual pressure seal from the lid, and the lid appeares to be installed properly and clamps fine behind the front lip of the base, is this typical?

Thanks in advance for your time!
