Hey,,where's all the MILF's??? Wheres all the Mid IL F-bodies? I finally got my rear end in,,where's everyone at,,whats going on thats not in Indiana?...lol.

here's a shot of my 10 bolt,,
that was right after the headers went in,,so i found a Moser 12, with 4:11's,,it feels quite a bit different from my 3:73'ed 10 bolt...but i do like it...
Since i bought used, and did all the installing myself,,i had enough left over for a UMI PH bar, UMI LCA's, BMR TA, an aluminum TA cover, Pro 5.0, and some well needed brakes. I even bought my own floor press and some other cool tools. Took me a while, but other than lifting the M12 up under the car,, did the whole damn thing myself in my garage,,and i have never done any type of rearend/suspension work before...it was a fun "learning" experince. Lil rubbing noise i need to address from my rear dr side brakes,,but we'll get there.
We do need to get something up,,even itf its just a small gathering at a watering hole or two...

if some folks just wanna hook up, have some frosty ones and show off the rides,,,,i was thinkin of maybe trying to swing something at Carrigans Pub right outside of Peoria, the parking is very visable from the road,,and if planned, i could insure we'd get this prime visble parking (its right next to the beer garden area too, so we could be right there) its not a huge place, and no big boobies in tight white T shirts and orange shorts like we all like, but they do have food, pool tables, darts, beer garden, hell, they even have a grill right in the beer garden!! I would have to find out the specifics and get with the owner (im in ther all the time, so i know these folks),,,A couple us met a year or two ago,,i think 4 or 5 cars total,,,we didnt do anything but meet up there and have some beers,,but other LS1's had seen our cars and stopped by to visit,,it was a pretty laid back, fun time, and met some cool folks. If anyone shows any intrest to this,,let me know and i will start to set something up,,if not, im sure other options will present themselves,,,,at this point, im just really ready to get out of the damn garage.

I should have my housing and axles tomorrow, but it still might be another month or so before she is on the road. I still need a center section and a sway bar.

thats good to hear man. I went 12 bolt just cause im sure once my heads/cam/pulley and tires is on/in,,my car will be done other than some fun cosmetic stuff...that and i got a hell of a deal on it (used) from Elec at Car Shop. That dude even drove down from Moline to deliver it to me,,,and even stayed and had a couple of beers,,hell of a guy.

Well I'm out of town for a wheelstand comp this weekend, next week is HOI fair truck pulls and demo derby and the week after that is my next points race at GLD.

Also who all is going up to Cordova on sunday July 27th for Slopony day? I'm definately going to be there. It is basically a big central illinois thing, at least it was last year. It would be nice to get some more F-bodys up. Also i'm going to guess it will be like last year with a $100 fastest street car class and absolutely no lines what so ever, but don't hold me to that for sure.

Well i sold my car about a month ago now but you know im always down for drinking beer!! Waiting to buy a project car. Anyone know of a 93-02 TA roller with the body in good shape?
