Default PCSing to Hawaii...need some info

Hi guys, I am being stationed in Hawaii soon and I know there are some pretty stringent regulations for bringing a car. Trying to get info from the Navy and it being a reliable source is like pulling teeth. Just seeing if anyone out there has actually gone through the process and what tips you could offer ie, tint, exh, tires, h/c/i. I am in the Navy, going to Marine corpse base in Kanehoe Bay. If your out there fill me in on the street scene. Thanks!

35th SS: Do you have cut out's or other exh mods? I spoke with the inspection site and they said no cut outs no exceptions.

Tint and cut outs have to go, i need a reconstruction inspection, wheel alignment to manufacturers specs due to lowering springs.

Thanks to all for your help.

dont worry about any of that, alot of us are running alot worse than tint and cutouts. We can get you taken care of for an inspection.

Man most of everything you don't have to worry about. Both of 35th SS cars are pretty crazy AND he runs is cutout open most of the time.

yes on both cars and tips that dump to the ground.it really depends on the shop you go to for inspection.no recon permit here.
