Sup guys. I used to race here all the time. Sucked when the track closed. I've also cruised with paradise cruisers for over 10 years. I recently met Trey the founder of LSX reapers. nice GTO. I'm going to join them on a cruise next time, a real cruise, not park in a lot and call it a cruise. Paradisecruisers.com has cruises like this also. I know where some reapers race on the weekend, but I can't post it up here. Anyaways, I won't have my car out til next weekend. I'm tearing down and installing the mayhem 2 can kit, lunatic gold valve train, ls7 lifters, oil pump , headers etc. Here's my car, honk if you see me, hardly ever drive it though.... lol

Ha ha, I hear that. Yesterday i started my cam install. I'm down to the block now. Dropping off my heads first thing this morning, for a cleaning and valve job. Today I'll chase all the threads, change the oil pump, chain and cam, maybe get the steering rack back in. Paint some stuff. Have to have it back together Thurs for a trip to tune on Fri.
Hope you all don't mind me dropping in here, I'm not in the military, but am a desert storm vet.

Ha ha, no, I'm not you typical vette owner. I've had vettes for 15 years, and have never even been in a vette club, seriously, its just a car. But does have an LSx motor. I like the LSx motors. And I like a lot of different cars and choppers. I like GTOs alotsp as well. Yuppie? I'm a tattoo freak that's listens to 80s hardcore punk. So does my wife.
Well, can in, get heads back in the morning and get this bitch back together. Making good time.

I noticed. Not sure when I'll get back, sooner or later. Hopefully later.

SlammedC5 - glad to see you're not one of the yuppies. Too many Vette owners have a 12 year old car with 2000 miles on it and expect to sell for what they bought it for, or think it's pointless to change anything on the car.

"Don't you think if a different cam or headers could make more power, the engineers at GM would have put them on. You think you know more than the they do?" Typical Vette owner response to mods.

Not a fan of the GTO. I did like the G8, saw the Holden Commodore in Australia and they had some that looked MEAN.

Good to hear. A&A, ECS, Vortech, ProCharger or a roots/screw?

Doing the install themselves? If it's an A&A I can give a few tips on the install
(instructions weren't exactly complete when we did mine.)

Yours should be easy enough to get to 600.
