I'm using my Post 9/11 GI Bill for this school. Start September 5th. BAH for 2012 is $1635 and found a very nice apartment 2 miles from the school for $530 a month. For half of August and all of September only cost me $200 so do not worry about money you're going to have plenty. Moved here from North Carolina. Toured the school and talked to some of the guys. Great place. Those guys get out of class at 12:30 but stay till dark just playing around and come in on Saturday because they just can't get enough. Bothered UTi and Wyo Tech for over 2 years and they come no where close to what this school offer's. Save yourself the time and don't waste your GI Bill. It's simpler than you think just make the call to SAM and they will get you started! And they will go to the end of the universe to help you out and make this process as easy as possible!

Ive been looking around on your website but none of the brochures are working when i click on them. Im curious about price, legnth of school, what you need for school, etc... i cant find that stuff anywhere. i did submit for more info though so maybe it will be included in that when i recieve it.

Bumping this up to the top. How does the school work with the Hazelwood Act, GI Bill, and BAH? Im trying to use every bit of the benefits I can and start my post naval career off the right way.

I mentioned this to my buddy who is ETS'ing soon and now he's all about it, says he is going for sure. I'd like to go as well just because I can use the GI Bill and think it would be fun to learn, but I do not want to be in the automotive industry as a profession.

I'm trying to make a decision and it is really tough. My family and I plan to start fresh in Iowa, but I don't know of anybody in that area that is hiring for machinist of this caliber. I just wish the Hazelwood Act would cover the cost, but from what I understand it does not. Choices Choices.
