tx military guys... hadnt been on in a week or two due to leave for marriage...
currently stationed at dyess afb, abilene tx...
in houston quite a bit visiting my parents...any of you tx guys are welcome to hit me up for cruises and meets if yall want...

what do you do out at Dyess....thats were I am too. You need to get on abilenestreetscene.com theres a bunch of us car guys on there, quite a few military...lots of f-bodies and stangs. Good group of guys

i am thinking about getting stationed at ft hood whats it like there......i am orig from houston how far of a drive is it from there

Ws6man2000 hey man i am stationed at ft. hood and been there for about 2 1/2 years. i am from houston too and from hood to houston is a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive going the speed limit. and about being stationed there a lot of people want to go there, but when they do get there they wish they didn't. lol

I was @ the Hood for 2 1/2 years. That place can be a lot of fun if you like the field(which I do), otherwise it sucks. I spent 9 months of my first year in the field, and one month @ JRTC. The two years after that weren't too different, until we did tank turn-in for the SEPs, gettin ready for Iraq. I can think of a few places I would rather have been besides Hood.

can a 13b be stationed at ft sam houston.....cause i would re enlist for that....they are offering me on my next deployment 20k and station of choice is it too good to be true or what?

mp's cant be brought to ft sam....they have phased out the military mp's here and all they have is DA police now...
as far as a 13b being here.... there is a SMALL unit of 13b's for the flag detail and special events stuff, but i would give ya 3 happy meals for that.
