Which boats were you on? I was on SSN 673, SSBN 728(B), SSN 683(OEA), and SSBN 726(B).

LYN here...SSN660, SSN717 and SSN688. Done a SUB TENDER (AS40) out of Guam and started out in a HS Squadron out of JAX, but most of my 15 years has been in or on or around the BOATS.

I too smell of amine and recycled farts

spent almost 5 years on USS GEORGIA (SSBN 729 (B))
currently finishing up my shore duty @ CSS-17/NSSC
and on my way to the HMJ (SSBN 730 (G))

It was bound to happen and we aren't just regular seaman, we are seaman that cruise around in a long hard black tube. (I hope I don't get into trouble saying that?!)

I did 5 1/2 yrs on SSBN 728 (B) and went through the SSGN conversion over in Norfolk, now im back in the Pacific Norwest at SWFPAC on shore duty

I did nine patrols on SSBN 727 (B) 3 Years at TTF 1 Patrol on SSBN 732 (G).
Now I work for the DON fixing them...

HMJ is out of Bangor, but is in the Yards right now.

I have buddy up there, former sub guy who went officer...Frank Davis, he used to have a black WS6, don't know if he still has it though.

i feel young.....been onboard ssn 720 for just over 3 years now...up in maine at the yard...
