I trailered my car from NE to OH. Make sure you get all the info first. When I did my dity move the ******* said that I could file the Travel Voucher at my next base. Well I tried that then this old Hag brought a reg out stating that it had to be done at base X. I was pissed! I always have bad luck in life. One tip though! You are gonna have to weigh the truck empty then full make sure you pack all you can pack in there. Bad thing is that they will not reimburse you for the car trailer. I dont think they covered that. But this may just be AF stuff I dunno. Look into it first and get the scoop.

I know they wont cover the car trailor.. im not worried about that...... I am going to weigh it empty and then ill weigh it with all my crap and the car and trailor... J/K

Congrats on the orders. Are you on the Corpus Christi Naval Base that also houses the Corpus Christi Army Depot? If so that is/was a nice place when I was there last August ('04).
