Default Signal guys might get a kick outta this

So we got this new TacSat E3 right outta AIT this week. We are currently in the field running through the motions and messing with the LOS guys. Anyway so this new guy is on my *** the whole time bugging me with questions, so I figured out a way to get him to leave me alone. I sent this kid on a mission to go get 20FT of Orderwire from the LOS guys.

I swear this guy was gone for 30 minutes before my Plt Sgt comes over with a smirk on his face and told me to call the guy back over.

Anyone else ever just feel the need to mess with fresh meat?

Yeah, specially when they first come to the boat. We send off to different division throughout the ship looking for non-existent items such as:

-Pad-eye grease
-Muflfer bearings
-The dragon
-pad-eye wrench/remover
-Ammo stensils
-Mail boey

Not to mention when we make em dress up in full flight deck gear and arm them with broom handles to keep the monkeys from jumping on the ship while we hit the straights..

Used to send people off for:

Flight line

and

Prop Wash.

To bad one day one of them really came back with prop wash... some company decided to make it LOL.

Mokey duty LOL

Here are some broom handles.... make sure the monkeys stay off the boat... and be carefull, they bite and go straight for the nuts.....

we sent a guy to get some flight line. well he went to the cmndr who had enough crap dealing with people asking him for flight line so he made his own, and sent the new guy back with a whole roll of flight line. we also got a few people with
exhaust sample
blinker fluid
change summer air into winter air in the tires and vise versa.

Thats a good one, I've personally asked for:

-a cable stretcher
-AF form ID10T
-a roll of orderwire
-"special" wiper fluid for the TSC-85 van (I swear, dumbass went to vehicle maintenance for like 30-40 minutes, returned, and said they didnt have any.)

on a different note- I just ran across this, thought it was cool: "How to wash a hand grenade"

I always liked the PRC - E6/7/8 and finding the humvee keys! Also when you are on ship having them go out to do mail buoy watch so they can grab the mail from the mail buoy out at sea!
