Well my reenlistment package finally came back approved, it was a son of a bitch being prior service with tattoos and waivers. I got a lat move to 0331, any one know how the school is and what I should expect?

Well, expect a ton of knowledge to be learned. I was an 0351, so I was around the "guns" all the time. That stuff is like a science. You gotta be exact on everything that you do, b/c you'll be firing within meters of friendlies! If you're stationed on the east coast, you'll go to Camp Geiger at the Squad Leaders course building(if I remember correctly). I was cross trained in all of the heavy weapons, but obviously anti-armor was my MOS. But, good luck in your endeavors and Semper Fi!

I was an 0341, back in the day (1979), and went to ITS (Infantry Training School) at Camp Gieger. Those were some crazy days. That's back when Court St. was a dangerous place to hang out. Of course, that's where we spent most of our time.
I don't mean to hijack your post... it just brought back a lot of memories.

My room mate is a 0331, Im not 100% sure but depending on your gt score and how you score on tests during ITS you may be able to get in a CAAT team instead of being a wpns plt line company with all the ground pounders. both sides of the house are great people to work with, just giving you a heads up.
