^ I went to the 'Physical Therapist" on base, he did some pushing on my spine and said I had a bulged disk in my lower back. He gave me some excersizes that seemed to relocate it from a stiff muscle pain to a bone type pain.. I can't lift anything! It hurt like hell trying to granny lift an 80lb jug of cold mix asphalt. -How in the hell am I going to move my bags to begin w/!!?

I went back today to ask him and told him that I am deploying w/ in the next couple weeks... I said I didn't want to eff myself up in training and he said I'll be fine...

I can't have a bad back where I'm going w/ whom I'm going to be deployed with!!!! .. I still have the med group to check off on the outprocessing checklist... I'll see what my PCM says..

Your PCM should hook you up. Even if it's just a 30 day profile.

I'll give yall a hint... 'T' code tasking..

On the other hand, I should really just man up and go..
If I end up getting on a profile I can/will be labeled a p***y and a traitor by my shop.. On that note, I would screw someone else into going w/ shorter time than I had. -Don't want to do that.

The military answer to your problem is; if the military wanted you to have a girlfriend, they would have issued you one

I feel your pain man. Being a flyer, I am TDY all the time as well. Last year I was TDY for about 40% of the year, but at least mine was broken into small trips for the most part. (This doesn't include my deployment though )

OUCH!!! I feel your pain...6.5 months from may until Dec last year and then got 3 weeks notice I was heading out for another 4.5 months. Left again middle February and am still deployed. Our unit just extended another couple of weeks, but hey if I wanted to stay home all the time I guess I could just work at burger king.

In the long run it gives me a greater sense of satisfaction. I mean I miss my wife and daughter, but if I wasn't going out there it would just be somebody else missing his family.

Hopefully the time goes quickly for you.

Marty

They gave you two to three weeks notice for a deployment, and you've been back for nearly a year?

I dunno dude. Sounds pretty reasonable to me. You're lucky to have spent a year back home. I don't think you've got much room to complain there.

Tough call. Don't wanna worm your way out of a job someone else will have to do, but make sure you're fit to go.
