The Bone is probably my favorite AF jet. I can't say the same about the J-Stars.

it's a growth thing with the j's. everything you know about an h with the T56/hamilton standard setup goes straight out the window. They'd be even better if we didn't beat them up in weather. Hurricanes are rough on anything but when you add in composites it twists things around even MORE! The J's a cool plane though.........I won't EVER go back to an H(unless I'm in QA and never have to work on one again!)

Not millitary but I thought I would throw these old birds up.

This one is about to go out the door back in the air

This bad boy next is out hangar queen, started as a C-2 check (like 40 days) and its been here for 60 and has at least another 30 if not more to go). SEVERE corrosion, at heast a quarter of the floor supports and tracks were shot, lots of pit work, new section of belly skin going in. Who knows whats still left. Was almost scraped.

Some of the stuff my father has been on

Not his current jet (unit is loosing its jets and his just left) but the one before that was lost in a mid-air killing the other pilot.
From what he heard the nose gear door with his name on it was the largest peice left. This was it.
