Navy or A/F IA's. Advice please Any of you out there? Oct 1st Ill be leaving for the combat training. By jan 1st I'll be working security In Iraq.
Just wanted some imput on how the pre training was and your experience in Iraq.
My tour is 1 year long and the orders entail "Guard Tower" and "Roving security"
I know the prison Ill be stationed to, but im not sure I can publicly put it out.
Any advice would help

The training is mostly bullshit, hopefully since you will be doing FOB security you will actually spend time training on different FOB sites on your pre-deployment site. A-lot of my groups training was fast tracked, and even the Army instructors knew their higer up's were handing us **** sandwiches. Three months of training condensed into three weeks.
I went to Fort Dix, NJ, and am presently deployed to Al Asad. Have no real perspective on the base or Iraq, since I have only been here for a week or so. Spent some time at Camp Buehring, Kuwait also. If you have any other questiones about NMPS, or pre-deployment training, shoot me a p.m. I won't discuss anything else about it publicly.
