Score another one for the USAF LS1tech'ers! Congrats, man!
Mine was in the Jan 08' issue (see sig). Not a feature article, just in the Street Heat section. But still pretty cool to me!

hmmmmmmmm.......
I find it strange that nowhere in any of your posts or anywhere in the story does it mention a word about the guy that really built that car. I realize you may have pulled the engine out and redone a few little things, but that story was bogus as hell.
Nice job to Mr. Adam Campbell of Amarillo Texas for building that car out of sweat, blood, tears, and a smashed LS1 Camaro that he traded his old Vortech supercharger setup for.
If anyone wants to know the real story behind the build of that car, feel free to ask me, I am not shy.

I had a feeling someone would get on here and try to say some bs...there isnt any hidden facts about the car or its story...dont make it out like there is some secret to the history...everything has been laid out in the open...not very detailed on the mag, but on this board yes.
But it does state that i got the car from 3rd gen.org and that it was already setup... But it also states everything i have done since then.....
why John Ulasek didnt put Adam's name i dont know..me and him had several Convos about putting Adams name in the mag. Somehow it didnt happen. It might of had to do with getting him adams last name late via email? Not sure
Alot of credit Does go to him i wouldnt deny that by any means...I Do give credit where credit is due.
But dont go discrediting me for what i have done with the car, and try to be a jeolous ***** and tell me my article was bogus... there was nothing about it bogus..everything was true. You need to give credit where it was due and not be a jackass about it.
I can bring up another thread where this got turned into a big discussion as well with someone and list all the **** that got change..practically 90% of the car minus the paint. But its not needed to argue about.... Everyone around me knows what i have done, and i have alot of people that would vouch for it that are on this board.
Glad u got to voice your frustration, But do yourself a favor and not post discrediting bs anymore without knowing all the facts. Thanks.

To add to the list above
New 30k LS6 Longblock with Trak cam and all the bolt ons put in place for the 100k plus stock '98 ls1 that was in it.... re modified the mac headers on the car...cut egr valve off..welded holes, grinded , ported , cut and re shaped headers...Completely new 3in Y-pipe and catback with center mount tips (not pictured in mag), The black Zr1's and tires,
new seats, dash cover, and a few new interior trim pieces, new suspension and bushings(everything minus k-member), brakes, made cowl on hood functional, re did wireing harness, new tranny (4th one), 4th rear end , re did window motor brackets, new lights threwout, new grounds on wiring, new stereo and speakers, new windshield lining, And im sure a there is more that i cant remember.
I did this all with money i made from two different desert trips fighting for our country.....
So tell me i didnt do anything to this car that i cant claim credit for.

Congrat's on being put in the magazine HartAttack. I've met you at the Eglin hobby shop before and have seen your car. It's definitely mag worthy. And I know you've done more than enough of the work that was put into that car to take some credit for the build. About the only thing about that car left from the previous owner is the paint. Besides, the mag clearly states the condition you bought it in, so I don't see what the argument is?
