Rumors Talking to some other people that have been in the Amry, They have told me that they were Jewed outta their Bonus. Anyone else suppose to of gotten a Bonus and never gotten it?

For about a month, peoples bonus's were on hold. This started January 1st of this year, and the bill to approve bonus's was not passed. people were still gettin bonus's on their contract, and when the bill got approved, they would get the money. For example I enlisted a guy who was supposed to get $30,000 once he completes basic and AIT, He enlisted on Jan 3rd, and was told bonus's were on hold, but when they get approved, he will still get it after training.
The only reasons i could think someone gettin "screwed" would be if their recruiter said "yea, youll probably get a bonus" they enlist, and get no bonus. If the army dosnt pay you, its a breach on contract.
I cant speak for the other services.

I'm not jewish lol just a word I use.(Jewish people always end up getting Screwed outta things) haha, but yeah thanks for the info, I couldent of gotten a better answer

lol, thats not where the term came from bro. Im not saying they are, but the stereotpye is that they are cheap. So, when bargining or so, and you lowball, you are "jewing" him down on the price. You used the word right, just the meaning is wrong. lol.
