I made NCO of the 1/4!!! Holy s**t!!!! 
I beat out a 'Fire Dawg' a Readiness Sgt and 3 other people in my SQ!!! A CIV in our SQ made CIV of the 1/4 also, so this puts our shop on the map as far as effort!!! Normally Fire Dawgs get awards for almost ANYTHING! I was at the Commander's call a while ago and this one Fire Dawg got an award for parking fire trucks... :irk: Yeah!!! If you read between the lines, that's what it was for.... FKN BS!!!
Dirt Boys don't get awards for anything, but this month is all about our shop!!!! I've had SSgt on for about 2 months now and I already got NCO of the 1/4!!! I was driving the commander around yesterday in HIS GOV!!!! He knows me pretty well, he comes to me directly for answers now as far as the airfield shop. I'm heading up the bed down of the F22's at this base now!!! They keep putting me in charge of more and more, and I just keep CRAVING MORE!!! I LOVE MY JOB!!!!
I'm the NCOIC of Airfield Maintenance now... Yeah, a miesely 5+ YR E-5, new to the NCO Corps running a shop!!! (E6, E-7 Position!!!!)
I also re enlisted for 6 more years for those who didn't know.... USAF all the way baby!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy ****!!! I just found out today that I made the MSG NCO of the 1/4!!! The GROUP!!! :shocker: After lunch we had a visit; My section commander, My SQ Commander, the MSG Commander (Full bird), The First Sergeant, MSG Chief Master Sergeant, and my superintendent!
THis is going to be a HELLUVA thing for my EPR Due in June!!!
