i was on just about every base in Kuwait in 07.. Behring (pronounced buering), AJ, Ali al Salem/The Rock, kuwaiti naval base and camp virginia (where i was most the time). It wasnt bad, they had everything you could ever need, it wasnt like a deployment at all.

WOO FOR 60Ks Ramp in Ali huh? I got stuck in the Deid I hate it here out in 45 days though. Guess I cant complain much 6 isnt as bad as 18. I feel for you tail swappin planes we do that crap here constantly and our ATOC is full of idiots

I've been there 3 times in the last 3 years. It's not bad at all, its a great deployment. The only thing that sucks is the heat this time of year. I'm always over on the Air Force side and the gym, chow hall, theater, and the pool are all very nice. I try to take at least one trip into the City while I'm there. You should try to get on the list to go...it's a good time.
Are you Air Force or Army? I'm in good with a few of the Air Force supply chicks that are there now. If you need anything I might be able to hook you up. I'm talking about uniforms and boots....not hummers and hand jobs. lol But, I could always ask.
