my last day in the IRR. its eerily peaceful today. its gonna be wierd. well, its been real, its been fun, hell its been real fun. see u guys later.

Congrats. I'll be there in like 6 1/2 years if I don't get stop loss...which is pretty much guaranteed unless I get away from Drum.

i'll do my best. this is my third year away from active duty, and its still weird. i kind of feel like a fish out of water, you know? people dont like "marine" mentality out here. too honest and straightforward for most.

I definitely hear you Lima Charlie on that one... It weighs on me heavily too and I've been out for a little over a year now - especially with our brothers and sisters still out there in the ****.

When I got off my stint of active duty I remember thinking how rude, stupid,ignorant and disorganized civilians were. I wondered how the world didn't stop because of it.
I remember the first time some one mouthed off to a supervisor. I was like...holy ****....but it was acceptable to both parties
