New GTO Shots, Underhood Bling!
Went to a cruise in last night, and the weather was nice outside today. Decided to snap some pictures of the car, and a few of the new bling on the car.
A friend of mine makes custom, polished stainless trim for a variety of vehicles. Started with 4th Generation Fbodies, and has now moved onto covering a few more bases. His name is Matt, DragonZ28. He runs EmblemPros, a site sponsor. Anyway, I was fortunate enough to have my car used as the guinea pig to prototype these parts. Im usually not the type to splurge for this sort of thing, but the quality is top notch and I couldnt be happier with how this stuff turned out for our cars. The honeycomb scoop inserts were replicated in polished stainless steel. Heck, even the 3M tape attaching them to the factory grills were laser cut to precision. Also did some underhood dress up as well! He has more great ideas for the GTO platform, I cant wait to see what else he comes out with.
Let me know what you guys think of the new stuff. As always, comments welcome on the pictures. Thanks!

Ill have those back on the car, along with more stainless stuff pretty soon.
I typically ran with them off, because they heat soaked the car so much. However we have some nice stainless inserts going on them soon, so Ill be keeping them on the car all the time. I may even try some custom paint work on them!
