for any of you evo fans Here is some pics of my buddy's evo. He's looking to be the worlds fastest. First pass down the quarter went 9.1 @158. should be interesting.

sorta kinda...tubed from the front towers forward, and the back towers back. the car was popped when he got it which is why it was cut and replaced with tubing. other than that it has stock suspension geometry. other than the glass front end it has all stock body panels.

are you tlking about the fastest EVO record or the fastest AWD record? cuz if your tlkin about just EVO's i think AMS has the record...but i believe John Shepard and his '91 AWD Talon hold the record for the fastest AWD...he broke into 7's and if im not mistaken the AMS Evo is running a Shep Transmission which was built and designed by John Shepard...he is a god among DSM motors as well as David Buscher...and Buscher set out to make the fastest Evo street car...he took an Evo and beefed up the motor and ran 9's all with full interior front and back seats...full dash with radio and navi...and on pump gas and street tires! you should see it with DR's and race gas...its insane!

yea everything you said is correct. Shep has the fastest awd talon and ams has the fastest evo. shep hasn't run in almost 3 years now. he tore the car down to be acid dipped and cert'd for 7.5's. last i heard tho it was in the paint booth so he should be around next season. The brakes are by "the brake man". And there is no shep trans in this car and never will be. He builds all his own trannys, and that's actually how he got into this business. building dsm trannys.
When you say "theres no shep trans in this car" do you mean the AMS Evo or your friends blue Evo...cuz i saw a recent video online about the AMS Evo breaking the record and at the end of the video he gave special thanks to a bunch of companies, one being sheps trans company
