Been there, done that. The thing is, it was probably empty! Tanks either jet from the hole, or they flatten out as they rip open along seams. Aerosol cans do the same thing!

Stupid. My dads a fire marshal and he said a regular grill propane tank if it explodes in your home is enough to kill you if your not even near it. THe sound wave gets encased in your house and it pretty much blows your ear drums out and causes MASSIVE bleeding in your skull........... I wont **** with death that way
