Well fellas, this is the first time in my life that I left the domestic culture and joined the "dark side". I was going to get the ZR1 and was #3 on the list for a year, but one simple look over this car and I was sold. It is NOT fast, it is NOT quick, but it sure is an experience!!




And this is after I installed the CF airbox's along with the BMC filters

Given that the car is orange, Ithink I want to black out the wheels. Just not sure if I want to get these stock wheels blacked out, or get aftermarket rims.

How Does It Compare to Your Z06? You mentioned it's not fast/quick, but I'm sure it's got some benefits over your Vette, right?

Excellent choice in cars. As I mentioned previously, the exclusivity of a Lambo is
incredible. You're a rock star everywhere you go.

Regarding the wheels, black would look great...but leave the stock wheels as is.
Just my 2 cents.

Ya, if I get an orange lip, that would mean I will have to get after market rims. We will see. I am more leaning towards blacking out the stock wheels, but we will see.

Regarding the Z06, well, here is a quick summary in difference between the cars.

Speed - NO comparison. The Z06 can be be in 3rd gear while the Lambo is in 1st gear and it still would get wasted.

Comfort - Z06 is much more comfortable. While the Gallardo is comfortable, it's not as much as the Z06.

EVERYTHING else - Lambo wins. The experience driving this car down the road and having people follow you for minutes, snapping pics, asking you questions, is out of this world. It is cool now, but it might get old fast.

I will give more detailed info when I get more miles under my belt with the Gallardo.

Not fast and not quick compared to the new ZR1 and just a few others. That is one sweet looking ride. They still don't look "real" to me. Kind of hard to explain, but in a good way.
