very nice build but i kinda thought it would have more hp. it has a lot but for the $ put in, i was expecting at least 8xx

Completely agreed! Everything in the engine looks new, what did they miss out on for the "big" power gain? Granted, with all the weight reduction and that kinda power it's probably still NASTY fast...

Heh, that car was built across the street from my shop, my buddy Joe (Kern) did most of the work, Greg from GS customs (same building as Joe) did the paint. You guys would **** if you knew how much $$$ is in this car. As an FYI, it started with a brand new evo. Crazy IMO.

Also, about the power: It is being built for a particular race series and not for drag racing.

i seen 2 comments on how bad the body kit looked, and one guy actully said its his favorite body kit! that pile may be fast, but it looks like ****. wheres the ticket counter, i want to book a flight to california, that thing looks like it could take flight.

Thats not a body kit, the only stock panels left on the car are the roof and decklid.

Again, this car was built for a specific class in mind, sometimes looks are secondary.

Everything on that car is functional... All AMS does is set records. Check out there time attack car, or there Drag car for that matter.

Especially considering they used aftermarket for everything.

Could have bought a blown up lightly wrecked one and saved a wad to big enough to choke a mule.

insane build...there are very few f-bodies that have that many aftermarket bits corner to corner. Insane track car for sure

Wow, I don't care who you are that is just impressive. The front canards are PROVEN to ward off understeer on AWD track cars. It creates downforce on the nose, also about the wing/nascar comment, someone did try that SUCCESSFULLY and large wings were outlawed in nascar because they were TOO effective. Look it up if you don't believe me, the car was the Super Bird.
