Default New exhaust on the Maro

I was wanting to go with the "no tips" look, so I changed up my exhaust. Its not the best looking by any means, but I love the way it sounds now. Not as much rasp as my loudmouth was. Its just a Bullet muffler with a turndown on the end of my ORY. I'll get a video soon so you can hear how it sounds.

I'll try to get a WOT clip soon

I'm sure even without a cam, it will still sound pretty badass

Ya, I want to do the say type of set-up so I can get rid of my B&B Triflow, because I also really like the look that it gives from the rear.

I made a thread awhile back but was not to sure about doing the swap from people telling me that it will be CRAZY LOUD and can get alot of RASP.

Thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ound-good.html

What do u think I should do?

Thanks yall. STREET99, its going to be loud, but there's not going to be much rasp, nowhere near as bad as the loudmouth. I think you should do what makes you happy with your car, not what everyone else thinks. Personally, I like it and if I were you, I'd do it

Thanks alot bro for the advice. I think I will do that because I already have a 3inch Hooker ORY on the car and When I can cut off the B&B, I will sell it and use that cash for some more "Go Fast Parts" to install over winter(LS6 Intake, Cam(Maybe),etc...) Thanks again man, your car looks and sound Awsome. Once I go the swap on my car, I will post up some pics and a Vid.

nice, but i would put your turndown down and to the right rear tire and pit a hanger on it. I have the magnaflow bullet with turndown its has 100% no rasp

I'm for sure getting a hanger on payday. Why would you recommend putting my turndown to the right rear tire, vs. to the left like it is now? Do you have any vid of your magnaflow?

that's exactly how I did mine, as it wont blow as much dirt/trash to the rear of the car and collect of that dust shelf of a rear bumper, and throws some of the sound out from under the car

Hum, maybe I'll have to turn the turndown then. But that wont put to much heat on the right rear tire being so close?

As far as the exhaust putting heat onto the tire, it's not going to be a big deal. When you're moving under full throttle, which would be when the car puts out the most heat, most of the heat is going to be moved by air out the back of the car.

When I put my turndown on my cutout to kick it to the right, I noticed less drone and a bit deeper tone inside the car.

no, it shouldn't I mean, don't turn it to where it's at a 90* angle and facing straight out, mine was turned down and to the right, prolly about a 45* angle, so it was still pushin the exhaust down and out at the same time..
