I'm having a hard time figuring out what he did exactly. Did he just hold the clutch right on its engagment point the whole time and burned it up?

Has he ever been in a car doing a burnout?
How can you ride it like that, not feel the tires even slipping, and not realize something is off.
I mean, you can feel the tires ripping loose while burning out.
