I'm not gonna flame you for street racing, I've done it myself, but the way everybody crowds the road and parks right on the shoulder all the way down the length of the 1/4 mile is absolutely retarded.

The way we do it here everybody parks behind the start line and the cars race away from all the people. I wouldn't ever participate in a race with spectators all the way down the street like that.
